The Conspiracy Decoy: Why Technocracy Does Not Need a Master Plan

2 min read · a quick zap ;) source original

Some conspiracies are real and boring: the policy is printed, funded, and defended on a government website. Programmable central bank currency is real. ESG standards in schools are real. The slow strangulation of domestic energy is real, and it is not an accident. None of that needs a hidden room. It needs a budget line and a press conference.

The problem is the story people use to explain it: an eight-point master plan lifted from a 1966 sociology paper, run in silence by a cabal. That story is a gift to the people it accuses. It is also the easiest thing in the world to disprove, which means the moment you lead with it, the actual policy gets to leave the room with the accusation.

Mark Carney and the rest of the global financial class do not need a manifesto. They are not cackling. They are trying to manage an entire country the way a mediocre manager runs a warehouse: dashboards, targets, climate compliance, equity metrics, and total predictability from the top. Put people in power who have never been governed by anything except a spreadsheet, and the output is more control, every time. The wrecked middle class is not a plot. It is the damage that happens when someone tries to micromanage reality from an office.

Call it the Cloward-Piven Strategy and you hand them the exit. A central banker can dismiss that in one sentence and look reasonable doing it. Ask him instead about the digital control grid that routes around democratic consent, and set his own white paper on CBDCs on the table next to the mandatory net-zero housing audits. Now he has to answer the document.

The governing class is operating in the open. Programmable money, algorithmic governance, social metrics by another name — all of it is published, funded, and lectured about in public. We do not need to find a hidden playbook to name the threat. We need to stop chasing the decoy long enough to refuse the thing being built in daylight, with our money, in front of us.
